Shamrock Deaf Filmmakers Club

Join us!

With the film club, we hope to find like-minded Deaf members who are interested in films & making films. Here we will use this space to provide workshops within the film industry and provide you opportunities to become a film maker / director and find support you need.

The workshops will be a range of courses such as film scripts/storyboards, learning to edit films, special FX/make-up and more!

All workshops, events and screenings will be provided in Irish Sign Language.

What is the Shamrock Deaf Filmmakers Club?

Every month a group of people who are interested in Filmmaking meet up and plan a short film that will be shot over that month.

You will gain the advantage of working with other people as well as a team player. Learning new skills from creating ideas and putting the film together from filming and editing. Do not worry if you have no experience, we are all here to learn together and to make films in a fun and friendly environment. Everyone will get the opportunity to try different things when making their films.
