We’re having our first meet up tomorrow at 11.30am in Rathmines room at Deaf Village Ireland. This is just a meet & greet, a chance for everyone to get to know each other, what their experiences are and the plan for the upcoming months.
If you’re interested in joining our filmmakers club. If you are free, then we would love to have you there!
On Friday the 10th of April, we are screening a very special film called, The Wall in The Hub, Deaf Village Ireland.
This film captures the lives and struggles around the Berlin Wall from Deaf perspective. The entry is FREE but you need to RSVP as there is a limit of people we can let in. Reservation can be done by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a message on Facebook.
Screening starts at 7pm. Here is a trailer for The Wall. Hope to see you there!!
Shamrock Deaf Films is looking to expand their committee and widen what they offer to the Deaf community in Ireland. Are you interested in films and organising events, and work in Irish Deaf Film festivals? We aim to have our 3rd film festival in 2016, exiting times for the committee.
